Submission of a score on either the American College Test (ACT) or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (CEEB-SAT) is required. High school grade point averages and test scores are used to determine eligibility. Completion of a comprehensive pattern of college preparatory study with grades of C or better in all subjects is required
For graduates of other foreign high schools where the language of instruction was not exclusively English:
ACT or SAT scores are not required
High school grade point average-equivalencies are determined by the Office of University Admissions
A minimum TOEFL score of 550 on the paper based test or 213 on the computer based test is required

Undergraduate Transfer Requirements
Any acceptable baccalaureate level course work must be completed with a grade point average of at least 2.4 (A=4.0). Applicants who have completed fewer than 84 transferable quarter (56 semester) units must also qualify for admission based on their high school record. All transcripts are examined for evidence of frequent transfers between colleges, gaps in attendance, downward trends in grades, and a pattern of withdrawals or program changes. A minimum TOEFL score of 550 on the paper based test or 213 on the computer based test is required of all undergraduate applicants who have not completed at least three years of course work at the secondary level or above where English is the principal language of instruction.
